Atley ate most of waffle and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate baked chicken and ate whole grain tortillas, no cabbage, and no baked apples with cinnamon.  I've posted pictures of Nora and Atley exchanging "fives" as Atley walks by after she eats.  Well sometimes (and today was one of those times) Nora will just sit there and look at Atley and make Atley wait for the hand slap!  (She's totally just toying with her.)  However, Atley doesn't care one little bit and she'll just wait until Nora gives her five.  Atley is so sweet!  And Nora's facial expression says, "I'm just too cool for words!!"  Haha!! NO BLOGS TOMORROW!!   Just wanna make sure everyone sees that so I'll put it in bold capital letters!!  Ha!  Lauralea will be covering for me when I go in for an EMG test at 1:00.  (Right after lunch and during nap when I'm usually in the middle of working on Blogs.)  I may as well take time now to also menti...

Atley ate kix cereal and most of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey burger, hamburger bun, no lettuce or tomato, ate avocado, and no cherries. This first picture was taken just after the kids had waved "bye" to Daddy Ryan.  This was Nora and Atley's morning greeting.  They didn't hug; walked to each other and just leaned in and touched heads.  So very precious and I love Atley's expression!! Cooper (For those that may not know he is Kenzie and Riley's little brother and a former attendee at Little Treasures.  Ha!) is here today because his Preschool is closed for Columbus Day.  Everyone was excited to have a visitor with us!  I took this next picture when Atley was peeking under the legos table watching Cooper play with Hudson.  While Atley was in this area Avi found a string!  (about 18 inches long when she pulled on it)  Except it was hooked to Atley's pants!  Atley stood up to take off and Avi yelled, "My ...

Atley ate her oatmeal and no baked apples with cinnamon.  She wouldn't try one; just whipped her head sideways.  For lunch she ate half of her hamburger stew with ground beef, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She ate most of dinner roll and apricots. Atley and Hudson were the first ones here this morning and she was watching Hudson building a wall with the blocks.  I had them stacked about "5 high" in the block shelf and he was carefully using them rather than just tearing them apart.  He must have seen Atley move or something because he said, "No Atley Condra!!" Ha!  He was pretty worried she would wreck his wall!  I assured him; "She's just watching you Bubba!"  We eventually built something different because His awesome wall was acting more like a barricade and causing some issues.  :) Here's a picture of Hudson and Atley at the window after waving at someone and they had started "bonking" their foreheads on the glass!  A...

Atley ate bites of french toast and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pulled pork, bites of everything else; whole wheat bread, peas, and cantaloupe. Several of you have asked about the results of the MRI I did last week.  Thank you all for your love and concern.  Lauralea covered for me today while I talked over the results with the Doctor.  Thankfully there was nothing terrible that showed up that would require surgery or something drastic so we're going to continue to treat it with physical therapy for now.  He's scheduling me for an EMG to try to pinpoint whether it's nerve pain or muscle pain.  He has changed his mind and is now thinking it may be more nerve pain.  Anyhow, I'm grateful the pain has substantially decreased and I will continue doing what I'm doing. Here are a couple pictures from yesterday afternoon during outside time.  Kenzie and Riley were giving Nora, Avi, and Hudson rides in the wagons, but Atle...

Atley ate bites of whole wheat toast and ate her mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate some of her whole wheat spaghetti noodles, with ground beef and marinara sauce, bites of squash, and ate most of her fruit salad. In case I forget to mention this to everyone tonight:  I have a Doctor appointment to discuss the results of the MRI tomorrow morning at 10:30 and Lauralea is covering for me.  The Blog may be somewhat later, but most likely it will Post around the same time. Here's a funny note about Hudson this morning:  Nora was going up the steps to the blue balance beam, but not going quite fast enough for Atley.  Atley started patting her on the back (not hard) and Hudson obviously didn't like her doing that.  He said, "Nooo, noooo!!  That's Nora!  That's my brother!!"  Haha! In the first picture we had some music going and these two clowns were spinning and dancing!  I'd never seen Nora spin before and she was going for it!!...

Atley ate bites of whole wheat bagel and lots of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate some shrimp, a large serving of brown rice, no stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries. This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when Atley jumped off the BLUE balance beam for the first time.  This may not seem like a big deal, but up to this point she was just going off the YELLOW end pieces.  They have to get more distance to land on the mattress and it's another achievement!!  Well done Atley!  And she was proud of herself! Several weeks back I posted a very similar picture in this same setting!  Well, as you can see these two are still doing the identical same thing after  EVERY  meal!  So cute.  Atley is almost always done before Nora and she has to give her "five" every time she passes.  And Nora is always waiting for it!  Seriously, they NEVER miss a time of doing this. Nora REALLY likes to drag stuff along behi...

Atley ate bites of breakfast: bran cereal and raisins.  For lunch: from chicken salad she ate bites of chicken, ate olives, no tomatoes, cucumber, or peppers.  She ate bites of pita bread and all her pears. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were so engaged all morning!  Atley played with some of everything - especially the stuffed animals (mostly rabbits in this set), the little people and little houses (see picture below), pop-up toys, xylophones, and the "iPods!" ( Or a very cheap imitation that holds about 6 songs!  Haha!! Atley had a stuffed rabbit and was going around the room "greeting" all the other children with the rabbit.  (See the next 3 pictures!!)  First Hudson, then Avi, and Nora!  Nobody was real thrilled with the greeting, but Atley was pretty quick about moving on to the next person!!  Ha!!  Then Avilene decided to try it and I put a picture on her Blog of her doing the same thing to Huds...
