Atley - 10/9/2017

Atley ate kix cereal and most of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey burger, hamburger bun, no lettuce or tomato, ate avocado, and no cherries.

This first picture was taken just after the kids had waved "bye" to Daddy Ryan.  This was Nora and Atley's morning greeting.  They didn't hug; walked to each other and just leaned in and touched heads.  So very precious and I love Atley's expression!!

Cooper (For those that may not know he is Kenzie and Riley's little brother and a former attendee at Little Treasures.  Ha!) is here today because his Preschool is closed for Columbus Day.  Everyone was excited to have a visitor with us!  I took this next picture when Atley was peeking under the legos table watching Cooper play with Hudson.  While Atley was in this area Avi found a string!  (about 18 inches long when she pulled on it)  Except it was hooked to Atley's pants!  Atley stood up to take off and Avi yelled, "My string!"  Haha!

I took this last picture when Atley was pushing the swivel/rocker chair around and around with Cooper and Avi.  Speaking of Avi, I could smell someone was poopy and I asked Avi, "Are you poopy?"  She said, "Atley."  And pointed at her.  :)  She was right!

Atley ate whole wheat bagel and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger pizza with whole wheat crust, tomato sauce, olives, peppers, mushrooms, and pineapple. This isn't just about Atley, but I think you'll like it.  At the breakfast table when everyone was just about done eating Avilene started whipping her head side-to-side really fast and furious - just being a goof and showing-off!  Nora and Atley were laughing hard of course and started doing the same thing, squealing louder every passing second!  I told Avi, "Hold your head still please."  Hudson never misses an opportunity to add his two cents worth, and he followed with this; "Or your ponytail will fall out!"  haha!  (The fact that Avi didn't have a ponytail was apparently irrelevant!) Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and applesauce. I'm not exactly sure what brought about the conversation about our "heart," but Atley informed everyone "I know when your heart breaks." Oh really, when is that? "When you're NOT in love." Then after a few moments she added; "When you die." :) Today was Science with Lauralea and the kids were super excited as always. The theme was "our tongue" and "taste buds." Lots of tasting today! As you can see in the first picture we had a partially completed (ha) diagram of the tongue and we briefly told the kids where their taste buds are located. Atley - 9/29/2017

Atley ate malt-o-meal cereal and a bite of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a bite or two of "beef kabobs" (beef, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms), ate whole wheat toast, and pineapple. This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Atley was squatted down in the middle of the sidewalk watching school kids walk home.  Avilene saw her squatting there and ran to join her.  Not too much to say about this picture except for the fact I think it's adorable!! In this next picture Hudson was holding a mirror in front of Atley's face and he said, "This is Atley."  Ha!  These are some new mirrors I got; one side magnifies and the other side distorts!  (Hey!  Just trying to start them off with a good self-image! Ha!) There were several robins in the yard when I took these last two pictures.  The robin in the first picture hopped down to the ground and Hudson said, "He fell off!"  Haha!  Robins are one of the more "calm...
