Atley - 10/5/2017
Atley ate bites of french toast and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of pulled pork, bites of everything else; whole wheat bread, peas, and cantaloupe.
Several of you have asked about the results of the MRI I did last week. Thank you all for your love and concern. Lauralea covered for me today while I talked over the results with the Doctor. Thankfully there was nothing terrible that showed up that would require surgery or something drastic so we're going to continue to treat it with physical therapy for now. He's scheduling me for an EMG to try to pinpoint whether it's nerve pain or muscle pain. He has changed his mind and is now thinking it may be more nerve pain. Anyhow, I'm grateful the pain has substantially decreased and I will continue doing what I'm doing.
Here are a couple pictures from yesterday afternoon during outside time. Kenzie and Riley were giving Nora, Avi, and Hudson rides in the wagons, but Atley preferred to do her own thing; ride the bike, push the lawnmower, etc.
Here is another picture of the kids waving at the window! Love those rituals!! This was Nora's Dad. Moments later they were waving at Hudson's Dad and of course Atley, Nora, and Avi were smacking on the window before Colin even came into sight around the corner. Hudson kept saying, "He's not here yet guys, he's not here yet!!" Atley just looks at him and keeps on smacking the window! haha!
Atley was reading on the couch and Avilene joined her. Atley was pointing out something to her and think their conversation went like this with Ately telling Avi, "Yes Avi I know the book is upside- down, but I prefer it that way! I mean look at this bear! Doesn't he look much more interesting and hilarious upside-down?!? :)
