Atley - 10/2/2017
Atley ate bites of breakfast: bran cereal and raisins. For lunch: from chicken salad she ate bites of chicken, ate olives, no tomatoes, cucumber, or peppers. She ate bites of pita bread and all her pears.
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were so engaged all morning! Atley played with some of everything - especially the stuffed animals (mostly rabbits in this set), the little people and little houses (see picture below), pop-up toys, xylophones, and the "iPods!" ( Or a very cheap imitation that holds about 6 songs! Haha!!
Atley had a stuffed rabbit and was going around the room "greeting" all the other children with the rabbit. (See the next 3 pictures!!) First Hudson, then Avi, and Nora! Nobody was real thrilled with the greeting, but Atley was pretty quick about moving on to the next person!! Ha!! Then Avilene decided to try it and I put a picture on her Blog of her doing the same thing to Hudson - so he got it twice and he wasn't too happy about it!!
Thanks to Atley, who absolutely LOVES to be LOUD (and I'm not exaggerating), the kids found the back side of the xylophones to be way more fun than the front side! Ha! If you look closely at the picture below you can see there is an oval-shaped section that has "ribs" across it. They would run their sticks across those ribs and it's pretty noisy!! Atley started this and soon Avi and Nora were doing it too! :)
