Atley's Journal

Atley ate French toast and two servings of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries. Well Nora is getting some serious potty training education from her peers at Little Treasures!!  Ha!  Avi has been doing great for a long time, Atley now has it nailed down too, and they want company every time they have a potty run!  Avi gets mad if someone doesn't hang around and watch her too!  This morning she said, "You wanna watch me pee!?!"  Nora and Atley had already went potty and they were ready to leave.  Avi said, "Please!!??  It's gonna be a big poop!!"  LOL  Wow, Bonus! Like a double feature!!  :)  Then later Atley did poop and she said, "I want Nora to see my poop!"  And of course Nora sprinted for the bathroom for a viewing session.  Geez!  And that's life at Little Treasures.  (Relax everyone. Atley ate whole wheat toast and no mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef with pasta sauce, bites of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, half of riced cauliflower, and half of fruit salad. First picture: This one is actually left over from yesterday afternoon.  These two goofballs were being so silly.  They'd go up to the wall, smack it with their hands, and then fall straight over backwards.  Nora was being a wee bit more conservative on the backwards fall, but I got a pretty good picture of what Atley was doing.  And there was LOTS of laughing and giggling accompanying this behavior!! Next picture; well the day starts and the daily routines start!!  "Get in the chair Linnea!"  And the daily reminders start: "Ask Linnea if she wants to ride in the chair."  :)  Then Atley asked Linnea; "Do you want some toys Linnea?"  Linnea nodded her head in the affirmative!  A big head nod! Atley ate two servings of whole wheat bagel and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, most of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  About breakfast time Lauralea had come out of the shower and Atley looked at her hair and asked, "You need a hair dryer?"  Haha! First picture:  Linnea has been doing lots of jumping on the mattress and is getting pretty good at it!  This morning she jumped on the floor and Lauralea was impressed and said, "Linnea got both feet off the floor jumping!"  So Atley got right down on the floor for a close-up look!  LOL.  Atley was saying, "Jump Linnea jump!" Haha!  What a goof!  Linnea was just looking at Atley like "what the heck are you doing!?!" Atley ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, half of whole wheat pita bread, no cucumber, no peppers, bite of avocado, and ate pears. Well this is a big day for Atley at Little Treasures!!  First poop in the toilet here and I'm so proud of you Atley!  She came out and yelled to Linnea (she was the only other child here); "I went poop in the potty Linnea!!"  Haha!  I said to Linnea, "Say good job Atley."  Linnea shortened it substantially; "Atley."  Ha! That's good enough!  Atley is so proud of herself and we're all proud of her too!  It's a big day! First picture; After Atley arrived Linnea got in the chair (Atley yelled, " GET IN! "  Uhh...you can ask and do it nicely.)  and Atley was spinning her.  Linnea was kind of singing, "Rock-a-bye-Baby" at the start of the ride.  I basically posted this picture so you could see what Atley is wearing; warm hat, mittens, but no socks!  Ha! ...

Atley ate a large serving of whole grain cream of wheat cereal and ate most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, pineapple, and peppers.  She also ate a large serving of brown rice and ate pineapple on the side. All three girls made trips to the bathroom together again this morning and Nora asked, "Can we clean the floor Gary?!?"  Just like yesterday, and several days before that too!  Avi asked, "Gary, can you get a picture of us!?!"  Well I took one yesterday Avi, and it's in yesterday's Blog!  Avi and Atley took off their hats and were using them for dust mops as they came back down on hall on their knees!!  I'm definitely not discouraging this routine!! Atley ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a couple bites of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate half of whole wheat tortillas and ate her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. First picture; Avi and Nora were playing with the mirrors while Atley pushed the chair in circles.  Second picture: Avi started this routine and now she's got everyone doing it!  Which is fine with me!! Ha!  Avi said, "Hey guys! You wanna clean the floor for Gary!?!"  (The more kids scooting along the floor the better!!)  Also, while the three of them were in the bathroom taking turns going potty they were making observations about the small toilet seat that folds down too.  Right...

When Atley first arrived and then when Avi first arrived they both noticed the snow hanging off the eves over the top of some icicles...Atley said, "That is crazy!"  Then when Avi was done waving bye to Daddy at the window she looked up and said, "Snow is on the icicles!" This first picture was taken shortly after Atley arrived and these two were the only kids here.  Atley's jogging in circles and doing silly things like watching the ceiling while she trots in circles and Linnea is getting a free ride!  It was close to 9:00 when I took the second picture and Svea was getting hungry.  She was at the gate watching Atley and Avi in the preschool room and starting to fuss.  So I asked Atley if she'd  "read"  to Svea while I finished up with Linnea's diaper.  So I guess in Atley's mind "singing T...
