Atley - 3/7/2019

Atley ate French toast and two servings of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries.

Well Nora is getting some serious potty training education from her peers at Little Treasures!!  Ha!  Avi has been doing great for a long time, Atley now has it nailed down too, and they want company every time they have a potty run!  Avi gets mad if someone doesn't hang around and watch her too!  This morning she said, "You wanna watch me pee!?!"  Nora and Atley had already went potty and they were ready to leave.  Avi said, "Please!!??  It's gonna be a big poop!!"  LOL  Wow, Bonus! Like a double feature!!  :)  Then later Atley did poop and she said, "I want Nora to see my poop!"  And of course Nora sprinted for the bathroom for a viewing session.  Geez!  And that's life at Little Treasures.  (Relax everyone. It's normal behavior at this age.  No need to Google it!!)

Atley asked, "What do you have?"  She spotted something in my hand.  I said, "Those are my hearing aids." She said, "So you can...(mumble mumble mumble)....."  I said, "What!?!"  Atley said (louder), "So you can hear me?!?"  Hahaha!  Exactly!!  I need to put them in so I quit saying, "What!!!"  That was pretty classic and made me laugh!

Atley just randomly asked Nora, "Do you like Amy?"  Nora said, "Yes."  Atley said, "I like Amy too."  That was pretty cute.  As if Nora would know who Amy is.  Megan, I was glad you told me Amy had been at your house last night.

Here are some pictures from Daycare this morning.  They never get tired of two things at Daycare:  the chair to spin in and the mattress to jump on.  Second picture:  Reading on the couch with friends.  Atley did a good job matching colors in the last picture.  She putting the right color with a clothes pin that has the same color on it.

Atley ate whole wheat bagel and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger pizza with whole wheat crust, tomato sauce, olives, peppers, mushrooms, and pineapple. This isn't just about Atley, but I think you'll like it.  At the breakfast table when everyone was just about done eating Avilene started whipping her head side-to-side really fast and furious - just being a goof and showing-off!  Nora and Atley were laughing hard of course and started doing the same thing, squealing louder every passing second!  I told Avi, "Hold your head still please."  Hudson never misses an opportunity to add his two cents worth, and he followed with this; "Or your ponytail will fall out!"  haha!  (The fact that Avi didn't have a ponytail was apparently irrelevant!) Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and applesauce. I'm not exactly sure what brought about the conversation about our "heart," but Atley informed everyone "I know when your heart breaks." Oh really, when is that? "When you're NOT in love." Then after a few moments she added; "When you die." :) Today was Science with Lauralea and the kids were super excited as always. The theme was "our tongue" and "taste buds." Lots of tasting today! As you can see in the first picture we had a partially completed (ha) diagram of the tongue and we briefly told the kids where their taste buds are located. Atley - 9/29/2017

Atley ate malt-o-meal cereal and a bite of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a bite or two of "beef kabobs" (beef, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms), ate whole wheat toast, and pineapple. This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Atley was squatted down in the middle of the sidewalk watching school kids walk home.  Avilene saw her squatting there and ran to join her.  Not too much to say about this picture except for the fact I think it's adorable!! In this next picture Hudson was holding a mirror in front of Atley's face and he said, "This is Atley."  Ha!  These are some new mirrors I got; one side magnifies and the other side distorts!  (Hey!  Just trying to start them off with a good self-image! Ha!)
