Atley ate most of french toast and two servings of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of the meat from pulled pork sandwich, bites of bread, bites of peas, and bites of watermelon. Hey Megan, Hudson spotted you driving back the opposite direction after waving at the kids at the window.  He said, "Hey!!  There's Megan again!"  :) Sometimes Atley will clear toys off a shelf and move on to the next shelf to clear it as well!  :)  And that seems to be the game; just clearing shelves!  Lauralea and I always called this the "dump and run" stage!  However, sometimes she has a plan and this first picture is an example.  She started by taking every book out of the bookrack and dumped them in a big pile.  Then she made several trips to line up a dozen or so books on the window step, then set down and started reading!  :) Here are a couple more pictures from this morning's activities.  Atley was taking combs to Nor...

Atley ate most of whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bite or two of ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, she ate all her squash (first), and ate her fruit salad. When Avi's Daddy Andy was leaving he asked Avi, "Can I have a love?"  Nora was standing at the gate and just lifted up her arms and he hoisted her up and got a hug.  So cute!  So I told him he should be feeling pretty special because not everyone gets that opportunity with Nora!!  :)  Then Avi hugged her Daddy and of course Atley was ready for a turn as well.  I was totally waiting for his reaction when he reached over the gate and picked up Atley.  He was surprised!!  Yup, and that's why she can push that swivel/rocker chair around and around no matter what anyone else wants!!  Haha!! Pictures from this morning: There is a zipper on the back of the chair that they frequently squabble over - no more - After I took...

Atley ate half of her whole wheat bagel serving and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, a large serving of brown rice, no stir fry vegetables, and no raspberries. I took this first picture of Atley playing with the combs and she played with them off and on all morning!  She LOVES these combs!  This was minutes after we were done waving bye to Mommy at the window.  Yesterday she did this same thing immediately after I'd put a new ponytail in her hair.  Kenzie and Riley were watching and laughing uproariously!!  Silly Atley!! Atley and Nora played in the swivel/rocker chair again with Atley pushing (and sometimes rocking) and Nora riding and laughing.  (See picture from yesterday.  Ha!)  They love that chair!!  Atley is so strong and tough and I think she's realizing she can push harder than anyone else!  (It's about even with her and Hudson.)  So I've had to keep a close watch when all the kids are around ...

Atley ate bites of bran cereal and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch: From her chicken salad she ate chicken, olives, bite of cucumber, no tomato.  She ate avocado and her pears.  And bites of pita bread. I had an awesome time in Louisiana with my precious daughter and her husband.  (He's a great guy too!!)  I just have to include a couple pictures from my trip - I'm limiting it to just two pictures, ha! So here are a couple that are quite different from what we see in Montana and they typify the State of Louisiana!!  1st picture:  Love these boats and I'm going on a ride up some bayous on my next trip there!  2nd picture:  My daughter only lives about 40 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and any houses right on the Gulf waters are built high!! The funnest part of trips are coming back to the Little Treasures Kids!!  In the next picture I told Atley to say Hi to Baby Linnea and she waved at her.  :)  Atley was much mo...

Atley is not here today, but I want to Post this Reminder for everyone! I am leaving tomorrow for the airport about 10:30 am, but I will be at the Daycare until then.  Lauralea will cover for me tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday.  Little Treasures is closed Wednesday the 22nd - Friday the 24th for Thanksgiving.  There will be  NO   BLOGS  until I'm back for Daycare on Monday the 27th.  Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!  I'm SO very thankful to be able to go to Louisiana to see my daughter and her husband.  (And wear shorts during November!)

Atley ate bites of whole wheat toast and ate lots of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she had bites of pork roast, ate whole grain tortilla, no vegetables (carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes), or fruit salad.  This following situation did NOT faze Atley in the least, but I'm still going to post it so you get a feel what breakfast time was like!!  It was a little chaotic during breakfast time; especially for Nora.  We had a situation with the sump pump in the basement yesterday and the plumber was scheduled to be here at 8:00 this morning.  Well of course he showed up about 45 minutes late - about the same time as Hudson, Avi, and Nora.  Thank goodness it was a quick fix (like I thought it might be) and he was done by 9:20 while we were still eating breakfast.  So what was the problem you ask!?  Well Nora saw his face! Yikes!  Poor Nora was screaming because I was not in the lunch room and she couldn't see me.  Baby Linnea had fallen aslee...

Atley ate oatmeal and a few apple bites for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hamburger stew with carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She ate dinner roll and a bite of apricots. These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Atley was at the window yelling loudly and I whirled around to see what the heck that was about!!!??  Haha  I should have known - of course she'd spotted an airplane flying by!  Ha!  For the 2nd picture Kenzie and Riley wanted to take pictures of me reading to the kids.  (Hudson had left by this time.)  They took several pictures with my phone and I thought they did a good job.  :) One more note from yesterday; Kenzie noticed it was snowing so she got some jingle bells for everyone (which just happen to be in this toy rotation) and they were all lined up at the window watching it snow while Kenzie led them in singing; "Jingle Bells!"  Super cute!! Atley and Nora were the only two kids he...

Atley ate bites of french toast and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pulled pork sandwich, most of peas, and half of her cantaloupe. Before Lauralea left this morning she made an observation; "It looks like Atley's diaper is sagging." Hudson said, "No, it's snowing!"  Haha!  Lauralea said, "I'm not talking about the weather!"  Cracked me up!  Speaking of a sagging diaper, I'm impressed (and amazed) by how much Atley will drink.  She averages about 24 ounces of fluid here every day!  8 ounces of milk at Breakfast, 8 ounces of milk at Lunch, and usually a full cup (another 8 ounces) of water at snack.  So it's no wonder she frequently has a sagging diaper regardless of the weather!!  Haha!! This picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Kenzie had put everyone's name on a piece of paper and then she had Riley draw the lucky winner from the bowl!  I like how Riley is intentionally looking elsewhere!  No ch...

Atley ate whole wheat toast and a bite of mangoes for breakfast.  She usually eats mangoes, but these were frozen ones and they really do taste different than fresh ones!  (My opinion!)  For lunch she ate most of ground beef with marinara sauce, most of noodles, no squash, and ate a large serving of fruit salad. This first picture made me laugh!  This is how Atley went to the gate to greet Lauralea this morning. She put a doll blanket over her head and started waving!  Then Nora joined her to greet Lauralea as well.  :)  That's a morning ritual, but the blanket was a new look! I took this next picture after Story Time.  Atley had been reading earlier SO LOUD and she went on and on and on!!  Then Hudson decided he would match her volume and intensity!  Ok everyone, I think we'll have Story Time now!  Ha!  So we read lots of books.  By the way, just about everyday at least once during Story Time Atley will lean over a...
