Atley - 11/3/2017

Atley ate oatmeal and a few apple bites for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hamburger stew with carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She ate dinner roll and a bite of apricots.

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Atley was at the window yelling loudly and I whirled around to see what the heck that was about!!!??  Haha  I should have known - of course she'd spotted an airplane flying by!  Ha!  For the 2nd picture Kenzie and Riley wanted to take pictures of me reading to the kids.  (Hudson had left by this time.)  They took several pictures with my phone and I thought they did a good job.  :)

One more note from yesterday; Kenzie noticed it was snowing so she got some jingle bells for everyone (which just happen to be in this toy rotation) and they were all lined up at the window watching it snow while Kenzie led them in singing; "Jingle Bells!"  Super cute!!

Atley and Nora were the only two kids here until about breakfast time.  They were having so much fun playing, squealing, and laughing!  I took this first picture when I turned on the music and Nora started spinning and Atley immediately joined her.  Then in the 2nd picture Atley was on the floor and I said, "You are so silly!"  Nora came running over and flopped down beside her!  "What about me!?!  Am I silly too!?!"  :)  Yup!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
