Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and three servings of applesauce. Here are some pictures from Atley's morning at Little Treasures.  I'm not sure what Linnea and Atley were doing, just laying on their tummies and looking over the edge of the precipice!  Ha!  Following picture: I was impressed how well Linnea kept up with Atley pushing this chair around and around as fast as her little legs could go!!  After a couple of minutes Linnea said to Atley, "I'm still dizzy, are you?"  Then they played chase and while they were running Linnea was saying, "We're gonna go fast, we're gonna go fast!"  These pictures (and the last one) were taken before anyone else was here; just these two.  Atley loves playing with Linnea on Linnea's "level."  The group dynamics change the moment more kids arrive. ...

Atley ate two servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a couple bites of "hearty paleo stew" with meat, carrots, green beans, tomatoes, cauliflower, and broccoli.  She also ate crackers and a large serving of tropical fruit. First picture;  Linnea started running with Atley back and forth across the room the moment she arrived.  They were standing on the yellow bench counting - preparing to run - "1 2 3 4 7 8 9 ..."  and away they'd go.  In the following picture Atley was showing Linnea how to work the shape sorter; although Linnea does it just fine by herself.  I guess Svea decided it was more fun to use the bucket for a hat. Last picture:  I see I've posted three pictures where Atley is with the little people.  :)  Atley did spend time in the Preschool, but she also spent lots of time hanging out with Svea and Linnea.  Linnea and Atley actually play together quite nicely.  It's n...

Atley ate waffle and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, two servings of corn, and two servings of apple slices.  At breakfast Atley was telling Avi about "Daddy is at the desert!"  Avilene was confused!  Haha!  "What?!?"  Atley said, "Yes, pokey cactus."  Ha!  So I told Avi that Brad was in Arizona on a business trip, but they do have deserts and  cactus in Arizona.  I rarely step into their breakfast conversation, but I wanted Avi to know Atley's story had a basis of truth.  :) First picture: Jumping on the igloo with Svea.  It was pretty cute because they were mostly trying to jump at the same time.  Just in case you're wondering; yes Svea is pretty small to be up there, but she's a fearless little thing and loves to do it!!  Following picture: Atley working hard at one of the more difficult puzzles again. Next picture: We put some new "rulers" out (al...

Atley ate kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomatoes, most of avocado, and three servings of cherries. The nicest part of coming back to Little Treasures is all the love and hugs.  :)  It was a wonderful week in Louisiana with my family and the weather was awesome.  As soon as I got back on Saturday I had to clean snow off the sidewalk.  And that's Montana.  :)  Atley was so sweet and cute this morning and very generous with her loves.  So precious.  She asked for me to snuggle with her and we did in the rocking chair. So Avi and Svea were still in Wyoming last night (on their way home from Denver) and hopefully they will make it to Missoula tonight.  And Callahan was not feeling well so it was just Linnea, Atley, and Miles here today.  First picture:  Atley is checking out the little airplane I got and "Woody" from "Toy Story." ...

Atley ate oatmeal and baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll, and apricots.  At breakfast Avi started raving about the breakfast: "I really really really like baked apples."  Then pointing to the oatmeal she said, "And I really really really like this!" Atley started repeating the same thing and pretty soon it became a contest about who could repeat the word "really" the most times.  Haha.  "Really really really really really really like this!!" First, I just want to say thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement for me to go to Louisiana for Thanksgiving week.  This is so wonderful for me and I'm really looking forward to traveling there tomorrow.  Thank you all so much. Here are some pictures from Atley's morning.  First one; these are some cool interlocking wooden blocks I recently got and Atley said she m...

Atley ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, two servings of whole wheat toast, two servings of peas, and ate strawberries. The Missoulian paper was laying in the driveway in front of the window.  Again.  "Here's your complimentary paper; please enjoy and subscribe."  Hello!  I have a digital account.  Haha.  Anyhow, Atley spotted the paper and said, "Hey Gary, there's news laying on the sidewalk."  Later, again she reminded me; "Gary, you forgot to get the news ."  Haha. First picture: Not long before I took this picutre Atley was standing around whining.  What are you whining about?  "Linnea won't chase me!!"  Haha!  But they were soon playing chase around and around the Daycare room.  (In defense of Linnea, she has not been feeling well this week.). Next picture:  Here Atley and Avi are playing the "Lady Bug" game again.  Atley was trying to tell me she...

Atley ate whole wheat toast and mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she had no ground beef with marinara sauce (she didn't want to wreck those spaghetti noodles), ate three servings of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon, but they were playing this same game again this morning and it looked exactly like this picture.  I introduced them to this game ("Lady Bug game") months ago and eventually put it into the toy exchange so they have access to it and play on their own.  They are doing pretty well with it and mostly following the rules.  (I heard Avi saying this morning; "That is NOT how we play the game Atley!" Ha!)  I like the cooperation that I'm seeing as well.  They are definitely growing in that area. Next picture: Atley was very happy to see Linnea and was giving her rides in the chair.  Linnea was happy to be here too!  (She was last h...
