Atley's Journal

Atley ate cheerios and no banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, bites of tomato, no avocado, and ate two servings of strawberries. Baby Miles (Nora's brother) started at Little Treasures today.  I told Atley he was coming and she cheered and got all excited.  Then when he came she ignored him.  LOL!  (She probably thought Nora was coming too.) We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so everyone had fun on "Toy Exchange Monday" as Atley calls it.  And now I call it that too.  Good phrase.  The first picture; Atley was playing with a toy in the preschool room that's called "Throw the Dog a Bone!"  Every time a light comes on you throw to that dog.  They like throwing from "point blank range!" Next picture; Atley acting like Atley!  Haha!  She was wearing this cow mask, standing on the igloo, saying, "moo moo moo moo!"  And she even stayed there ...

Atley ate two servings of brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a few bites of her fish (Alaskan Pollack), ate whole wheat dinner roll, cauliflower, and mangoes. Note from yesterday afternoon;  The neighbor kid had a "Grim Reaper" costume.  Obviously the Little Treasures kids have no idea what that is and Atley called him the "grim leader."  Haha.  (At this point I will resist the urge to make a political joke!!  Haha!!) First picture left over from yesterday afternoon.  The girls were very interested in watching Nora put on her skeleton costume.  I had them stay on this side of the fence to make life a little easier for Momma Emily!!  :)  We can watch from a distance! Atley ate half of toasted whole wheat English muffin and ate oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and two servings of applesauce. This first note is from yesterday afternoon and Atley spotted an icicle hanging off the garage.  She said, "Is that a wind chime on the garage."  Haha!  I told her what it was and she said, "I wanna eat it! I really do!!"  When Avi's Daddy came he grabbed it (he's MUCH taller than me! haha!!) and split it in half for Avi and Atley.  Thanks Andy!! First picture;  Svea and Linnea were taking "naps" using pillows and doll blankets.  (Linnea is in the picture, she's just under her blanket.)  Atley brought a stuffed animal for each of these two and laid the stuffed animals on their pillows.  Atley lifted Linnea's blanket and set the animal under the blanket.  Second picture:  The majority of this particular legos master piece was done...

Atley ate french toast and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, cauliflower, and spices.  She also ate two servings of crackers and three servings of tropical fruit. This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon and you can see by Atley's face she's having a blast playing with Nora and entertaining Nora.  As I've mention so many times even though Atley and Nora are so opposite in temperament they are the perfect fit as buddies.  Nora's "slap-stick" humor meshes with Atley's love for silliness! I took the next picture first thing this morning when it was just Atley and Linnea here.  They were running and jumping and having fun.  Atley had just come off the top of the igloo and was getting some good bounce going!! Next picture;  Atley was using the scissors and made one cut and was done.  So I put some marks on the paper and she did great!! ...

Atley ate two servings of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of applesauce. Whenever I've misplaced something or lost something and I say, "Where is ......??"  Atley always comes running!  And says, "I'll find it!"  And she usually does!  She's an awesome finder!!  She has a sharp observant eye!  Future Detective or Treasure Hunter!?!  :) First picture: Linnea and Atley were stopping for a water break.  The moment Atley arrived these two were running back and forth across the room over and over.  And that makes a person thirsty!!  It was funny to watch them because Linnea kept taking shortcuts on every lap.  I call it "smart choices."  :) Next two pictures; This was pretty funny to watch!  Linnea had a bandaid on the big toe on her right foot.  She worked and worked to get the bandaid off, but to ...

Atley ate kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomato, ate avocado, and ate cherries.  At breakfast Atley asked Avi, "Do you love your sister?"  And of course the answer was "yes."  Atley said, "I love Svea too."  Well you know what happened next; an argument about who loves Svea more!!  Ha!  They were stretching their arms as wide as they could; "this much, this much, this much!!" First picture: Atley chose to not wave at Momma Megan at the window and this is where she was "hiding."  I basically ignored her poutiness and that ended rather quickly!  Ha!  Following picture; She ended up sitting on my knees and we did a couple of "selfies."  She loves it when I bounce her up and down on my knees!! Atley ate oatmeal and baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and ate a large serving of apricots. Here are some pictures from Atley's morning at Little Treasures.  First picture: Atley and Linnea got on the shelves with blankets and books.  Linnea actually still fits in there pretty good without too much discomfort.  Or at least that's what it looks like.  Atley on the other hand only stayed in there for about 16 seconds and said she was gonna read somewhere else!!  Haha!  That's a good idea Atley!!
