Atley - 10/29/2019

Atley ate two servings of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken, ate whole wheat tortillas, corn, and two servings of applesauce.

Whenever I've misplaced something or lost something and I say, "Where is ......??"  Atley always comes running!  And says, "I'll find it!"  And she usually does!  She's an awesome finder!!  She has a sharp observant eye!  Future Detective or Treasure Hunter!?!  :)

First picture: Linnea and Atley were stopping for a water break.  The moment Atley arrived these two were running back and forth across the room over and over.  And that makes a person thirsty!!  It was funny to watch them because Linnea kept taking shortcuts on every lap.  I call it "smart choices."  :)

Next two pictures; This was pretty funny to watch!  Linnea had a bandaid on the big toe on her right foot.  She worked and worked to get the bandaid off, but to no avail.  Atley stayed right there the entire time itching to get her hands on that bandaid and pull it off for Linnea!  Finally Linnea gave Atley an opportunity.  She wasn't any more successful than Linnea.  It was stuck very tight!!  So I used some scissors on it and Linnea was totally fine with that.  Last picture: Doing some stickers and taping at the table in the preschool area.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
