Atley - 09/02/2021

Atley ate two servings of cinnamon/raisin English muffin and ate mandarin oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas-n-carrots and two servings of applesauce.

Well this is the last Blog post for sweet Atley. Just in case anyone is wondering this is Blog number 940. Yup, that's a few Blogs for her. Ha! It doesn't seem that long ago when I first met Atley and I was always so impressed and happy with how quickly she adjusted to life at Little Treasures Child Care. We've talked about this many times and it always seemed like she'd been here forever. Atley is a wonderful child with many positive qualities and she'll do great in school as the years move forward. By the way I look forward to many invites to activities that Atley is involved in. Or I'll just show up uninvited!  Haha. 

This is the perfect picture for Atley's last Blog. :) She's been doing these "bridges" for several weeks and maybe months. But I don't think I've ever posted a picture of her doing this! This is from yesterday afternoon. As you can see she's pretty good at it!! 

Guess which of Atley's personality traits I enjoy the most!?! Anyone who knows me will know the answer is "HUMOR." Her and I kind of click on goofiness and I've always her enjoyed how easily and quickly she'll laugh. And some of the goofy things she says cracks me up!! Today we went to the Park and she randomly yelled to Svea; "Vay Vay! you're a genius!!" Haha. I had to ask; "Why did you say that?" Atley said, "Because she knows everything about me!!" Cracked me up.

Here's some pictures of our trek to the Park. Atley pulling the wagon with Miles and Cal aboard and Svea walking along with Atley. Svea also took a turn on pulling the wagon with Atley pushing from behind. I didn't pull the wagon either way; going or returning. Second picture: Atley - in case you weren't aware of this - is obsessed with rocks lately! Haha! Third picture: Miles followed behind Atley for one step, but that was as far as he went! And in the last picture I even managed to get all 4 of the kids in the same picture!! Love you lots Atley!!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
