Atley - 08/30/2021

Atley ate bites of kix cereal and some fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground turkey, toasted whole wheat hamburger bun, small serving of avocados, bite of tomatoes and ate cherries. At the lunch table Svea asked Atley; "What does your home look like!?!" Atley said, "You'll find out what you come to my house."

Atley did really well being the "big girl" this morning around the younger kids. It was different for her, but I think she actually liked it! We'll see how the rest of the week goes!! Ha. Only once did she mention Avi and Nora; "I miss Avi and Nora." 

As soon as she got here she started working on some Art and I liked this one she showed me. If you assumed it's a "bear," which is what I assumed, you're incorrect! Haha. It's a "Mickey Mouse Alien." Never heard of that one before! :)

Next picture: Atley took breaks from doing Art and was working hard by herself to build a "Castle." Svea was instantly "Queen of the Castle" and that was fine with Atley. Following picture: I overheard this conversation: Cal said, "I'm not happy." Svea said, Then leave the castle." Cal responded immediately!! "I'm happy now." Haha. That was a quick turnaround. 

Next picture; Atley and Svea had moved the Castle to the other side of the room and were transporting legos across the room as well. Cal took up residence in the outer court, but at least Atley was waiting on him by bringing him legos. Last picture; Atley was working with the legos and said, "Hey Gary, it's a stage where people sing." :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
