Atley - 07/15/2021

Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger & sausage pizza with meat, tomato sauce, pineapple, peppers, and olives. She ate half of her whole wheat pizza crust (we serve on the side) and half of pineapple on the side.   

Lauralea had to go to Plains today to help her family so there is no Science with Lauralea today.

Atley was pretty sad and emotional this morning for the first 30 - 40 minutes. (It probably wouldn't have lasted that long, but Cal was the only other child here to distract her.) I basically gave her space as she didn't really want to snuggle. She's been fine the rest of the morning and there doesn't seem to be any hangover from that time! :) First picture: Eyeball stickers have been the lasted craze for yesterday and today! Nora started creating some "aliens" and everyone was on board for that. Atley, on the other hand, decided to go with some flowers. Good work Atley.

Next picture: Atley caught some kind of bug outside - I think it was a box elder bug - and Svea and Nora were kind of interested, but not too interested. Ha. Last picture: Five out of the six kids are gathered around the home of a couple of roly-poly bugs. I'm sure it's pretty dark down that hole, but this was their choice for observing the bugs. Ha. Miles was not allowed to look because he apparently wanted to grab it and run. :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
