Atley - 07/12/2021

Atley ate cheerios and half of banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, no avocado, and ate watermelon. 

We had a great vacation in southwestern Washington and we stayed in a very unique little "hidden house." Lots of little road trips exploring in and around Mount Rainier National Park and Mount St Helens. And lots of hiking trails. A good time of relaxing and rejuvenation. 

First picture: Atley was playing with the barns and covering them with doll blankets. I asked her if she was "dressing up the barn?" Atley said, "Nope, I'm making it dark for them to sleep." :) Second picture; Atley and Cal were the only ones here until breakfast; Nora and Miles will be back tomorrow as Grandparents are still here. Atley laid out the cozy corner rug and some pillows. She said, "We're having a jumping contest."

Last picture: Atley left early for tennis lesson and this is what she was doing when Momma came to pick her up. They asked if they could color these little snack trays. She's actually working on finishing it right now as I'm working on the Blogs!

Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
