Atley - 07/02/2021

Atley ate brown rice and most of raisins for breakfast. She went to Gymnastics and is having Lunch with her family before coming back to Little Treasures. 

From yesterday afternoon: Atley was watching me comb Miles hair and I had it all slicked down and combed straight back. She loved it. Atley said, "Oh he's so pretty I could marry him!" Haha. 

For anyone following these Blogs I want to remind everyone that we're leaving for Southwest Washington tomorrow and the Blogs will resume on July 12th. We've rented a place for a few days southwest of Mount Rainer National Park and we're looking forward to a time of rest and relaxation!! Hiking and reading for me; reading for Lauralea. 

On a solemn note I should mention that Atley and Nora overheard (I was totally caught up in the moment and this was unintentional) me talking to a neighbor at the gate and I was telling them that our precious neighbor - Big Willie - died last night. Earlier, Willie's wife came to the gate to give me the news as soon as the kids and I went outside this morning. I mention this because Atley said, "Did Big Willie die?" Nora said, "How did Big Willie die?" 

First picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Atley was dragging Nora around the room with the cozy corner rug. Ha. Nora was just hanging out watching the scenery go by with her binoculars. Miles was yelling because he wanted a ride too.

Next two pictures: two silly girls having fun with swim goggles. Certainly needed those goggles to make it through the sprinkler. Haha. Notice the positioning of the goggles in the sprinkler picture. :) Miles in the background and that's about as close as he ventured to the sprinkler. 

Last picture; Lots of roly-poly bugs around right now. The girls had several here and they said they were building a home for the bugs. Atley said, "I'll go get some food while you make the living room." Ha.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
