Atley - 06/28/2021

Atley ate half of her kix cereal and a bite of fruit cocktail for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground turkey, toasted whole wheat sandwich thins, no avocado, no tomato, and ate black-raspberries. Svea said she didn't want any breakfast. She said, "I had a peanut butter & jelly sandwich" Atley said, "That sounds more like lunch. You had lunch." Avi said, "No, it was peanut butter toast." Ha. 

First two pictures - Atley and Nora were at the window looking at the neighbor's yard and saying things like; "Those are so beautiful!!" "I like them SO much!" So I peeked out and took a picture of some beautiful roses so you could see what the girls were enjoying. Our ONE rose bush in the front yard has ONE full rose (that's very pretty) and another one it's way! Nora and Atley said the rose was pretty, but they like the neighbor's better. Haha. I do too.

Next picture: Atley was playing with the swinging magnet and said, "I'm just getting the red ones." Soon she said, "Gary! Look at all the paper clips I have!" Ha. Similar remarks about the following picture: She said, "Gary I'm not doing any pictures today!" Ok, that's your choice. That lasted until Nora arrived and Nora wanted to do some art and Atley followed her. Maybe 15 minutes later Atley said; "Gary, I made a flying pumpkin." Nora said her's was a "pumpkin" too.

A couple more pictures from this morning; Atley and Avi were playing a couple new games I got and I like how Miles was keeping an eye on their activity. Last picture: Outside this morning "painting" with some water. I gotta get the equipment cleaned!! Ha.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
