Atley - 06/24/2021

Atley ate most of breakfast: French toast and dried plums. For lunch she ate pulled pork, whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of strawberries. Svea came in time for Lunch and she said, "Gary, when I eat it makes my teeth hurt." Atley, with an immediate answer, said, "Well maybe one of them are rotten because you haven't been brushing your teeth." Haha. Wow, go straight for "worst case scenario!" And of course Atley loved it because she made Nora laugh.

I took this first picture yesterday afternoon when Atley and Nora were working hard on some Art papers. They have lots of supplies on the table and they get those all laid out first before they begin. They were back at it this morning before breakfast with even more supplies this morning. The table was basically covered!! :)

Next picture; Atley watching herself practice whistling!! And she's just starting to get a few "whistles" to come forth!! :) I actually heard one from several feet away this morning. 

Here's the story behind this next picture!! The first thing the kids spotted when we went outside this morning was one of our neighborhood rabbits in our yard. :) They didn't even have time to put their shoes on; all three of them are carrying their shoes. They watched it for awhile and it ran behind the garage and soon reappeared in the yard. That time Atley started chasing it saying, "I'm not gonna let it poop in your yard!!" The kids watched it sprint across the street and it was hiding out under the boat - see picture - across the road. Last picture: Atley and Cal were throwing balls against the garage wall and I was showing Atley how to do it softly at first so she could catch it. And she was having success some of the time.
