Atley - 06/09/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, bites of potatoes, and ate fruit salad. 

Important Notice (Smiley Face) : Science with Lauralea will be Friday instead of tomorrow. Lauralea will be out of town on Thursday. I've already been telling the kids because they're always asking how many more sleeps until Science. 

You might guess that I took the first 3 pictures within a short period of time. Not really. It's getting more challenging as the big girls gets older and here's why: They stay engaged in the same activity (or switch to something very similar) much much longer than they once did so it seems like I'm waiting to get a different picture. Atley was at the table doing various activities and you can see she also enjoys watching other work on their stuff too. In the third picture I had to keep reminding Atley to let Svea do her puzzle by herself. :) Atley could see solutions and was itching to point to them. Ha. 

Last picture; These three girls starting a matching game. Avi actually left in the middle of this one; said she was "tired of it" and Svea went on to get lots of matches too along with Atley. (Svea and Atley were not sad to see Avi leave. Haha.) Avi is super competitive and more than once I've heard Atley say something like this; "She's TOO good."

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
