Atley - 05/19/2021

Atley ate French toast and most of oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of Whole 30 Chili with meat, peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, tomato sauce, and lots of good spices. She ate whole wheat dinner roll, and three servings of tropical fruit. 

First picture: This is officially "Puzzle Week" I guess. :) Everyone has been doing more puzzles and I think part of that is because of Svea's extra interest in puzzles right now. Whenever one of them gets super interested in some particular activity it always looks more inviting to the others as well. Second picture: Three Big Girls at the Doll House playing together. As you all know by now this is simply not Avi's thing, but she'll agree to play here as long as she can be the "Delivery Person." Ha. And they did that activity for probably 15 minutes or more.

Next picture: Atley and Nora finishing up some focused efforts at the Art Table. Both of them are proud of their pieces. Atley said, "I like this picture a LOT." Nora said, "I did this one ALL by myself." Nora informed me that Atley's "horse pooped" and she pointed at the little pile of dark brown you see on the ground behind Atley's horse. Silly kids. 

Last picture: What are you doing Atley? (I know that seems like an obvious question, but it's surprising how our adult perspective is frequently inaccurate!!) But this time I was correct! Ha. "I'm trying to balance. But I can do better without my socks!" :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
