Atley - 05/04/2021

Atley ate waffle and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, two servings of corn, and two servings of baked cinnamon apples. 

I'm gonna mention it today and again on Friday: There will be no Blogs next week while I'm in Louisiana. (I'd be more than happy to post pictures of Gideon from there - every day!! Ha.) Blogs will resume on Monday the 17th.

First picture: Atley was working on an Art piece. She had put tape across the middle of the long pieces she'd cut out and she said, "This is a Y. It can even turn into an X." (She demonstrated how that worked!) Which I thought was pretty cool!! Good work Atley. Second picture: The three big girls playing the "Feelings Matching" game. The two oldest girls are closely watching Nora's cards in case they get a chance at another match. :)

Next picture: Atley was sitting on the floor with her eyes closed while Nora was sticking Markers down her shirt. They were guessing which colors the other person put down their shirt. (I think that's how their game was played!!) And they were taking turns guessing and hiding. "Hiding and Guessing" is a favorite game and it takes many forms - and this is one example!!

Last picture: So Avi's under the table with a camera. Haha. Silly kid! Nora said, "Take a picture of our feet Avi, take a picture of our feet!" Sounded good to Atley and she started chanting it as well. Soon Avi was all the way under the table by their feet. Haha. Three silly kids.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
