Atley - 01/26/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, ate whole wheat cinnamon raisin English muffin, ate beets, and applesauce.  

I was changing Cal's diaper and I asked Atley if she'd please smell Miles to see if he was poopy too.  She's always willing to help with that.  She sniffed and said, "Nope, not poopy.  He just smells like the Hansen family."  LOL!!  Oh man, I lost it.  I laughed and laughed and laughed.  Needless to say, Atley was pretty proud of herself for getting me to laugh like that.   

Hey I just want to mention something that I'm working on with the 3 oldest girls.  During Story Time, music time, sign language, etc., I'm having them sit until it's over.  Sometimes it's short and sometimes longer.  I know they'll be required to sit for periods of time in Kindergarten, but it totally depends on the teacher and how it's set up.  

Here are a couple pieces of Art Atley worked on yesterday and today.  First picture;  I thought this was quite creative.  A spider on each side at the top of a wall and their web goes all the way across.  They've caught a bumble bee in the web!  Nice work Atley.  Second picture:  Here we have two blue birds and a red bird in a tree.  :)

Last picture:  Atley was doing some Art, but kept getting interested in what Avi was working on too.  Atley kept going over again and again to help out.  (And Avi was happy for the help.)  The reference picture is at the bottom right and then they were finding the pieces to complete the big picture.  Some of the pieces are small, but what really makes them more difficult to find is the fact they are magnetic and the little pieces will "hide" on the backs of the bigger pieces.
