Atley - 01/19/2021

Atley ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, most of brown rice, no stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  

This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Svea and Nora pretending to nap.  Atley NEVER does the napping, but she's always the self-designated person to fetch blankets, pillows, dress-up clothes, stuffed animals and anything soft she can find.  Following picture;  Same story, except Atley is just out of the picture.  Miles has joined them and is partially laying on sister Nora.  Once again Atley has supplied all the "softness" you see in this picture!!

Next picture:  Atley and Callahan were the first ones here and She had the wolf mask and Cal had the hard hat.  Atley said, "Hey Cal!! How about you be the construction guy and I'll be the big bad wolf!?!"  Haha. I'm not familiar with that version of the story!!  But I liked how the progression happened; The "Construction Guy" ended up chasing the wolf!!  Good stuff!!

Last picture:  Cal and Atley were reading books on the couch and Miles decided he wanted up there too.  He had a book in each hand, but threw them on the floor (rather than lay them on the couch - ha) and when he made it onto the couch he yelled for someone to fetch his books for him.  Haha.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
