Atley - 01/12/2021

Atley ate waffles and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of chicken, ate whole wheat tortilla, corn, and three servings of baked cinnamon apples.  

Breakfast conversation;  Atley told Nora and Avi she was gonna make them "special presents."  Avi wanted to know when she could expect these "special presents" to arrive.  Haha.  Atley said, "I'm gonna bring them tomorrow."  Avi said, "Well...make them cool!!"  Haha!!  Lunch conversation:  Avilene said, "I got my tonsils out."  Atley said, "Tonsils are your back teeth."  LOL.  That made me roar.  Then Nora and Avi were arguing about replacing teeth that left your mouth.  :)  Nora said, "You can glue them back in!" Avi said, "No you can't!!"  By this time they were yelling and pointing their fingers at each other.  Nora said, "Yes you can!!  My Dad said so!!"  (They think the "My Dad said so" or "My Mom said so" is like playing the trump card.  Oops, Sorry for saying the "t" word.  Haha.)  Avilene said, "No, you put the tooth under your pillow and the tooth fairy takes care of it."  

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon.  Cal wasn't really involved in what was happening here, but he sure was interested in what the girls were doing and was watching very closely!!  Atley was standing there saying, "tick tick tick tick tick tick..."  and apparently Nora and Svea were taking a nap.  Atley let out a couple of shrill sounds and Atley said that was "the alarm."  Haha.  The two girls on the mattress didn't move so at least that part was very realistic.  They were sleeping right through the alarm!!

Two more pictures left over from yesterday afternoon.  These three girls were lined up and the sinks and I asked what they were doing.  Atley said, "Making Christmas dinner."  :)  Following picture;  Callahan's Momma Maddy brought a new puppy for everyone to see.  She (yes it's a girl puppy) has a super cute face, but I didn't get a very good picture of that.  The children were all excited to meet the new puppy. 

Last picture is actually from this morning!!  :)  We were getting ready for Story Time and while she was waiting Svea was cuddled over against Atley.   Avilene couldn't resist being a part of the cuddle and couldn't resist being in the picture as well.  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
