Atley - 12/18/2020

Atley ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, 1 green bean, and ate applesauce.  Lunch conversation today:  Atley said, "My Mom and Dad are gonna teach me how to cook."  I guess Nora may have been thinking farther down the road; "Well my Mom and Dad are gonna teach me how to drive!"  LOL.  

First picture:  This was after waving bye to Daddy Brad at the window.  Guess what they're talking about here!?!  Brad wasn't driving his pickup this morning and Atley is explaining (in detail) about Brad's pickup!  I heard something about "an oil leak."  I love how Nora is focused on listening.  Good work Nora; that's being an awesome friend.  I know you're not super interested in Brad's mechanical issues.

Next picture;  I rarely have them "line-up" for a picture, but I wasn't having any luck getting them together any other way.  I wanted you to see three in matching pajamas.  And Avilene in her "special" pajamas as well.  I believe we have Atley's Nana to thank for these!!  (I wasn't in the loop, but I think that's correct!! Hahaha!! There are lots of loops I don't need or want to be in!!  :)  Last picture:  Doing some gluing at Art; making decorations.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
