Atley ate French toast and ate two servings of strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of Whole 30 Chili with meat, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers, and lots of spices.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and tropical fruit.

Wednesday morning "Science with Lauralea" before Breakfast.  :)  Two experiments this morning: Christmas Lava Lamps and Making Slime.  First picture:  Making the Lamps and the Ingredients for the Lava Lamps were Water, Food Coloring, Vegetable Oil, and Alka-Seltzer. The kids got a kick out of this.  You know what's gonna happen when the Alka-Seltzer hits the water.  In the second picture you can see some of the results of that.

So this next picture is adding and stirring the ingredients for Slime:  Water, Elmers Glue, Red (We chose red for Christmas) Food Coloring, tiny beads or glitter, and Liquid Starch.  (We're sending some home with the children and it's on their cubby.  PLEASE NOTE THE LIQUID STARCH - THEY SHOULD NOT PUT THIS IN THEIR MOUTH!)  Nora said, "I know all about this stuff!"  LOL!!  Of course you do.  Last picture;  Lauralea was "kneading it."  She told the kids what she was doing and Nora shouted, "WHAT!?!" She thought Lauralea said she was "eating it."  Hahaha!  They all had fun playing with their slime and watching the Lava Lamps.  I added more Alka-Seltzer at Breakfast and Lunch to activate our lamps!!  :)  Following picture:  Avi and Atley playing with the slime we made.  Atley said hers was a "spider web."

Last picture;  Atley was playing with Callahan, rolling around and wrestling with him.  The funny part; She was singing, "Rock-a-bye-Baby" the entire time.  Haha.  She has been interacting more with Callahan this week than ever before; pretty cool and very sweet.
