Atley - 12/21/2020

Atley ate whole wheat Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, two servings of whole wheat sandwich thins, no avocado, no tomatoes, ate two servings of mandarin oranges. Atley and Nora were jabbering at the Lunch table and they were looking around the room talking about everything they could "see."  Soon it was about what they could see out the window.  And it kept getting more exaggerated every time.  Finally Atley said, "I can see everything in the whole world; even in Egypt."  LOL   

REMINDER:  CLOSURE DATES:  Little Treasures will be closed December 24 & 25...  Will be closed New Years Day and will open again on January 11. 

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon when Atley and Nora were building with the legos. As you can see the girls worked hard and made pretty elaborate pieces.  The surprising part is they allowed Miles to hang around!!  He obviously wasn't interrupting their progress!!  But he definitely gets preferential treatment from sister Nora.  :)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and it was a busy place around here!!  Everyone already senses something good is gonna happen this week with Christmas!  So the kids have cranked up their excitement level overall by a few notches.  First picture:  Atley was the first one here for 30 minutes and she was being silly and making me laugh!  Which encourages her to be more silly.  :)

Next picture:  Atley and Nora saw the new markers in the art exchange and they were so excited!!  "Where did you get these!?!"  :)  They were trying ALL the markers and telling each other;  "Don't use all of that one!!  Don't use ALL  of that one!!"  Haha.  Last picture:  Nora and Atley were having a blast falling off the blue balance beam backwards.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
