Atley - 12/15/2020

Atley ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and two servings of mandarin oranges.  

I was in the kitchen putting breakfast on some plates and I heard Atley say to Nora, "Hey Nora, I remember when I was 3 years old and we used to say BOO to Gary in the kitchen."  So they started acting like they were 3 again and yelling "boo" to me.  They were peeking in the kitchen door that opens into the hallway.  

First picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Atley was helping Cal with his corn.  It's hard to feed a baby (Cal doesn't really fit that description anymore) without opening your own mouth as you put food in the baby's mouth.  I was giggling at Nora because she had her mouth WIDE open feeding her brother.  

Next picture:  The kids were making Christmas Trees; drawing them, putting on glue, and then tiny beads. I'd drawn trees for Nora and then Avi, but Atley did her own tree which was totally fine.  (I didn't want you to look at this picture and wonder why Avi's tree may look better.)  Believe me, I've got basically no drawing skills.  Haha.  Last picture - Everyone except Avi jumping on the mattress.  She was reading books.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
