Atley - 11/20/2020

Atley ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate green beans, and three servings of applesauce.

During Story Time we read a book about Hero's and the theme was having heroes and being a hero to somebody.  I asked the girls, "who is your hero?"  Avilene went first and said, "My cat is my hero." Then she said her Parents were too.  Haha.  Well at least they made the list!!  So Atley and Nora basically followed Avi's lead.  Atley said, "My dog; and my parents."  :)  One of the hero's in the book was the Science Teacher and the kids all yelled; "Science with Lauralea!!" 

First picture:  Atley said, "Hey Gary! I'm holding it just like you."  Little Miss Observant.  :)  Second picture:  Following picture;  Atley and Nora playing with the Doll House-Car Ramp combination! There have been some very elaborate scenarios played out here this week.

Next picture:  Looking at an "I Spy" book with Nora.  Atley was calling out whatever she spied and Nora was searching for it.  Last picture:  Miles is checking out Atley's toes.  Which Atley thought was funny.  She said, "Hey Nora, your little brother is playing with my toes." Nora said, "I know that."  Haha.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
