Atley - 11/17/2020

Atley ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, most of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  Ok this next piece is not about Atley, but I think you'll enjoy it.  At Lunch Time Avi said, "Gary, I feel electricity running through my chair!!"  LOL  Geez that hit my funny bone!  That's simply NOT true Avi AND I've never considered that as a possibility!!  Ha!  My question is obvious Avilene; How do you know what a jolt of electricity feels like!?!  Haha

First picture: Yup, I like pictures of the kids at the window.  Haha.  Waving bye to Atley's Momma.  Atley is a big girl, but she's also frequently on her tiptoes like in this picture!!  Which just makes her look even more huge beside Nora!!  Haha.  Second picture: Nora and Atley were discussing the books they're reading.  (Nora has some kind of a mask on her face in case you're wondering.) 

Next picture:  Nora sharing her cape with Atley.  Atley asked if she could wear it and Nora said, "Yes for a minute.  I really love that cape."  Thank you Nora.  

Last two pictures;  I asked Atley what she was drawing and she said, "A Christmas Tree."  And you can see all the branches of the tree and then she colored her tree.  However, she kept working on this piece for a considerable amount of time and lots more details appeared.  That's so fun having these older kids and see that development!!  Those are different colored Christmas lights all across the top of her paper.  She added a few numbers and letters and said, "This is almost the alphabet."  Haha.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
