Atley - 10/27/2020

I've gotten a couple of questions about Program closure dates for the Holidays ahead.  So here's a reminder of those dates:  
      November 26 & 27     Thanksgiving
     December 24 & 25.    Christmas
Also, A reminder for closure dates in January 2021.
      January 1
      January 4th - 8th.

Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch he ate pork roast, whole wheat toast, beets, and two servings of applesauce.   

These first two pictures are left over from yesterday afternoon and were too cute not to Post.  She's staring into the mirror and she cracks me up with some of the silly things she does with her eyes.  (I always laugh so I guess you can blame me for her continuing to do it!!)  Second picture: Now this is perfect Atley being Atley!!  Probably the first time I've seen a kid at my place laying upside-down to use the binoculars!!  :)

Next picture:  Five out of the six kids were at the window to wave bye to Momma Megan this morning! You were very popular this morning Megan!!  AND you were also the last parent to drive by!!  Haha!! Following picture:  Everyone is doing their version of the Macarena!  :)  Miles and Callahan don't have a clue, but they're sure enjoying the fun!  

Last picture;  I set the book up this way just so I could take a picture to show you what we're trying to do. This is one of the "I Spy" books and some of those books make it very difficult to find the items.  The items are small and the page is FULL!!  So we're gonna use a magnifying glass (Nora is holding it for the picture) and I think the kids will enjoy that.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
