Atley - 10/23/2020

Atley ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and applesauce.  Meal time conversation: Nora said, "Hey everybody! I can touch the ceiling!"  WHAT!!  You can touch the ceiling!?!  Everyone was so impressed and speechless!!  Then Nora said, "Yes, on my bunkbed!"  LOL!!  

Then I thought you'd get a kick out of this;  Nora was passing along some insights about our President to her peers;  "Donald Trump says bad words."  Hahaha.  I've heard many things during election times!!  (Including this year!!)  I remember when Tate Templeton was about Svea's age and he said, "My name is Barack Obama and I approve of this message!"  Haha.  (That was during Obama's first run for President; now Tate has his Drivers' License.)  

Next picture;  The three girls were sitting like this after Snack time and I think they were just waiting for Svea and the babies to come around the corner.  Atley, of course, saw I was taking a picture and had to pose for the picture.  Haha.  Following picture;  I mostly like this picture because I rarely get all 6 kids in a picture at the same time.  (Unless I arrange it!!)  So every time it happens I post a picture and say the same thing.  Haha. 

Last picture:  Lauralea had drawn a picture of a tree with branches, people and a dog underneath as well. (Stick people and stick dogs.  Haha.)  The girls were gluing leaves to the picture and then they tried to recreate the same thing on their own paper.  Atley and Avi were pretty interested in it; Nora not so much.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
