Atley - 9/30/2020

Atley ate whole wheat toast (in place of French toast) and strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of Whole 30 Chili with meat, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce, peppers, and spices.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll and a large serving of tropical fruit.   

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when we ventured out on a very short "field trip." Ha.  Across the street and three houses down on Rainbow Drive they have their yard full of halloween decorations.  Atley pulled one wagon and Avi pulled the other wagon.  Everyone listened very well - "either that or we're heading back immediately" -  but we didn't stay long because the little boys naturally wanted to get out of the wagons when we stopped.  

Next two pictures;  The first picture is a "big alien" and the second picture is "a Christmas tree I got for a present."  I love how you can see her drawings developing and getting more complex along with everything else.  (It will be very complex when these girls are in Middle School.  Haha.)  Also, I want to just mention how she writes her name.  Writing letters backwards is very typical, but I was slightly concerned when I've seen her writing her name in a "mirror image."  (Hold it up to a mirror and it's perfect.) Then she turns around and writes it perfect!!!!!  Love it.  (Just an FYI, I've never said a word to her about any of her letters.)

Next two pictures: Nora and Atley playing with some "Little Ponies" we found at a garage sale along with the Doll House.  Nora was brushing it's hair and said, "Hey Gary, look how fancy my little pony is."  She and Atley were talking and Nora said, "Hey Atley, remember when I was little and you used to come to my house?"  Haha.  She was talking about "apples and water" and when I asked for clarification Nora simply said, "I don't know."  Atley usually says, "I'm talking to Nora."  Haha.
