Atley - 9/16/2020

Atley ate three servings of French toast and ate strawberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of "Hearty Paleo Stew" with meat, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, and green beans.  She had two servings of saltines and ate tropical fruit.   At breakfast Atley was watching Nora chew her food and apparently Nora didn't chew to Atley's standards.  Atley said, "That is NOT healthy! You have to eat your food."  Hahaha.  (I'm assuming she meant "chew.")

The big excitement for everyone today - including Grandpa Gary - Gideon and his Mommy are here.  Avi and Svea are at Seely Lake until mid-morning Friday so Atley and Nora were explaining the Daycare to Christina.  Atley said, "I am the biggest, but Avi is the oldest."  Nora said, "And I am the prettiest."  Oh man, I had to swallow hard about three times to keep from doing the biggest guffaw ever!!  Totally serious and it was SO stinking funny.  I about fell off the couch laughing.  Now that is SO Nora.  :)

First picture: Here is Atley meeting and greeting Gideon with my encouragement for a hug.  Adorable.  Gideon fit right in with the kids and it's nice because he and Callahan are only 2 months apart so that's awesome.  This is such a treat for Gideon to be here where he can just enjoy everything and not have the stress of life after hurricane without electricity.  When all the kids started showing up I think he may have said something like this; "Grandpa! You have the coolest friends!!"  :)  Second picture: Gideon is such a love bug and it was so sweet of Atley to just let him love on her.  Atley said, "I think he likes me."  Ha. 

Next picture: Nora and Atley spent a little time in the Preschool room, but not much!!!  They had someone new to get acquainted with and they were showing off running and jumping for Christina.  Last picture; Christina was showing them some videos of Gideon on her phone.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
