Atley - 9/14/2020

Atley ate kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate turkey burger, whole wheat hamburger bun, no tomato, bite of avocado, and ate mandarin oranges.   

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and this first picture represents what Atley spotted first and she was seriously excited!!  She said, "I missed this eagle!!  I LOVE this eagle SO much!!"  And she really does.  I remember that too from the last time it went through the rotation.  (16 weeks ago. Probably 17 counting vacation!)  Later she was playing with something else and Callahan picked the eagle up and took it to Atley.  Ha.  Then he tried to give her something different and Atley said, "No thank you."  Callahan said, "You're welcome."  :) 

Here are some pictures from Atley's morning.  She and Svea were wearing masks and checking them out in the mirror.  (Wearing "masks" just doesn't seem like much fun to me anymore, but thankfully kids are in a different world.)  Atley picked up this mask and said, "I wanna be a Grandma."  Then she giggled when she looked in the mirror.  Following picture;  This was pretty cool because Atley just went over and started reading to Svea and the other two little ones liked it as well.  Thanks Atley!!  Last picture:  Lauralea found some Lincoln logs at a Garage sale and lots of other goodies too.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
