Atley - 8/10/2020

Atley had two servings of French toast and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and two servings of watermelon.  

Ok everyone, sorry, but no pictures on today's Blog!!  For some reason the pictures I took today will not load on Blogger.com so I'll try to figure that out tonight.  (Blogger.com has been updated so I may need to do something to make sure I'm still compatible.)  The Blog will no doubt be much shorter because I depend on the pictures to tell the stories!!  So I'll just try to paint the pictures for you.  Ha!

Yesterday afternoon Atley yelled, "Gary!! Nora said a bad word!!"  "Oh really, what'd she say?"  Atley said, "She said she's not gonna get me any presents!"  LOL!! 

The kids were waving bye to Momma Molly this morning.  Atley kind of stumbled backwards off the yellow bench and she was grabbing for any kind of "hand hold' she could find.  There was only air to grab except for Avi's hair!!  Atley landed on the floor with a handful of hair.  Avilene did not even whimper a word, until she looked at the hair and said, "Hey!!  That's MINE!!"  LOL!!  

Picture # 1:  Avi, Atley, and Nora were playing at the Doll House and Nora and Atley were dropping accessories over the top and giving them to Avi.  What game are you guys playing?  Avi had a one word answer; "Delivery."  Hahaha.  Wow, that's a perfect picture of modern convenience!!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
