Atley - 6/18/2020

Atley ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, ate cauliflower, and two servings of mangoes.   

Atley and Nora were wanting Christina to watch them run again and of course Christina was more than happy to do that.  Atley said, "Now I want you to laugh!"  Hahaha.  They were LOVING the attention and the fact that Christina was laughing at everything they were doing.  (For three days now!! Haha.)  Geez, I don't know where Christina got the genes to laugh at everything that happens!!  :)  It's not just me; You should have met my Mother!!  Christina and Gideon went to visit a friend this morning and Atley wanted me to continue doing just what Christina was doing.  "Gary, will you say WOO ATLEY and WOO NORA when we run!?  Haha.

Sometimes when Nora, Atley, and Avi are doing their Pretend Play it can sound very real.  Nora's voice will be high-pitched and intense just like a 'real life moment.'  Atley can do a very real sounding baby cry. This morning was one of those times.  She and Atley were at the Doll House and I peeked around the corner to check and sure enough, nobody was angry, they were just very engaged in some pretend drama.

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Christina and Gideon were gone.  The girls immediately went to the Preschool room and got a tray to work on.  This is an assortment of padlocks I've collected for them to play with and search for the matching keys.  


Next picture:  These two were wanting to show me the Art they did so I told them to stand side-be-side and look at each other.  And there's the picture!!  So cute.  Last picture: This started with just Gideon and Callahan playing in the chair.  They were kind of 'taking turns' (if you use your imagination - ha) giving each other rides.  Then Nora came and jumped in too and shortly after that Atley arrived to play with the chair as well.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
