Atley - 8/31/2020

Atley ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, no tomato, no avocado, and ate mandarin oranges.   

This first picture is left over from Friday afternoon and here's the story behind the picture:  Miles sleeps in this bedroom and I use these 2 baskets of baby toys if he wakes up before the "big" girls wake up.  (Because they are sleeping in the daycare room.)  So before we went outside Friday afternoon I said, "Atley and Nora I have a job for you guys.  Please pick up the baby toys for me.  If you want to DINK around with these toys for a few minutes I'm fine with that."  I could them discussing how to proceed and they were saying things like; "Shall we DINK around for awhile!?"  They apparently agreed to that idea because Nora yelled; "Gary, we're gonna DINK around for awhile."  Haha.  (I feel so proud.)

Next picture; We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend.  Atley and Nora were playing with the Doctor toys and their animals.  Nora is putting a "bandaid" on the puppy's paw and Atley is taking it's temperature.  That's the cord of a stethoscope laying there too.  Last picture; These glasses were in one of the doctor sets I got.  I think they give Atley a professional look. :)  Or maybe just a very cute look.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
