Atley - 7/9/2020
Atley ate French toast and dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate two servings of pulled pork, two servings of whole wheat toast, ate peas, and two servings of watermelon. At breakfast this morning Atley asked Nora, "When is he (Miles) gonna be 4 and go to swim lessons?" Nora immediately said, "Oh, in a couple of weeks." And she spoke with great authority. Haha. That answer apparently made total sense to Atley.
Two or three times I've heard Atley talking about "going to space." She told Avilene; "I want to be an astronaut because I never saw space." Avi, of course, knows what it takes to have a career as an astronaut. Haha. Avi said, "Well first you have to get an astronaut suit. And then a helmet." Atley said, "AND the spaceship." Haha.
Outside yesterday afternoon Avilene got stung by a wasp. (I think that's 4 or 5 times she's been stung in the last two years and she's the only one!! Geez!!) So anyhow, I found the nest and the wasp and took care of them. We were putting ice on Avi's sting and the neighbor "Mike" got home. So Avi yells to Atley; "Hey Atley!! Will you tell Mike I got stung by a bee?!?" So Atley raced to the gate to update neighbor Mike on the last news!! :)
First picture: Well here's another blurry picture for you!! I should probably figure out how to take "action shots," but for now this is it!! :) Nora and Atley were getting lots of exercise doing this and they were even landing on the soft mattress instead of the hard floor like yesterday!! Second picture: Atley was arranging these legos flowers as you can see and she said she was "making these for Christmas." And she had Alexa playing Christmas music. Haha. Last picture: Atley and Nora were playing with the dolls and stuffed animals. Atley said, "I'm putting this baby pig to bed."
