Atley - 7/28/2020

Atley ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, ate brown rice, bite of stir fry vegetables, and ate mandarin oranges.  Breakfast conversation: Atley asked, "Hey Gary; you your Grandpa with Gideon?"  (Love the phrasing!)  Yup, I'm Gideon's Grandpa.  Then Lauralea did something in the kitchen and Atley said, "Lauralea's a bit clumsy cooking today!"  Haha.  We got a big laugh out of that one!

First thing this morning Atley said, "Alexa play Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer."  She said, "I love this song."  She followed that up with; "Alexa play Christmas songs."  Haha.  Then later she asked for "Fall out Boys."  Holy rip!  Where'd you learn about these guys?!?  She said, "From Avi."  LOL.  Sounds too much like punk rock for me.  :)

This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when Atley and Nora were building a "home" (their word) for their role-poly bug.  Following picture:  Avi and Atley have these houses full of frogs and a few sea creatures.  :)

Here are a couple of pictures that I took outside this morning.  They asked to do some bubbles as soon as we got out there.  Atley actually didn't spend much time chasing bubbles.  She said she didn't want to get "soaked."  Haha.   Last picture:  Hoses across the sidewalk made it a whole new game!  Atley went flying over them and then stopped immediately to see what she'd done.  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
