Atley - 7/27/2020

Atley ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomatoes, two servings of olives, and three servings of watermelon.

Atley brought a mermaid "thing" from home and of course Nora was wanting to play with it.  Atley said, "How about I play with it for a little bit and then you play with it for a little bit?"  Nora said,"No, that takes too long!"  (Translated; that takes too long and I want it right now!)  Haha.

First picture: Playing with the doll house toys.  It was actually more fun putting doll house toys in Atley's shiny slippers.  Following picture: Atley is wrapping a blanket around a tower of blocks. She said she was "tying up the Christmas tree so it can't fall."  :)  What you can't hear is the Christmas music playing in the background that Atley requested from Alexis.  :)

Next picture: Nora and Atley were building their "cave."  (The igloo.)  Atley said, "Gary!! Miles is trying to break our cave!!"  Haha.  Well actually he was just cruising by and going to the mirror.  Last picture: The girls wanted to do some painting and they had fun with that.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
