Atley - 4/21/2020
Atley ate two servings of waffles and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, ate corn, and two servings of apple bites.
The first two pictures are leftover from yesterday afternoon. First picture; Atley is busy operating the controls and apparently it's a wild ride. Check out the air under Avi's butt. :) Second picture: The kids always yell at Mike the neighbor when he gets home. "Mike's home! Mike's home!" Well yesterday was no different except both parents and both children had arrived in the car. The neighbors were busy and not too interested in what the kids were yelling. That did not deter Atley and Avi who were yelling at the SAME time and it was SO funny to me!! Here's what they were yelling over and over and the neighbors had no clue what they were saying or talking about!! "I have a dog named Lexi!!" "I have a cat named Melvin!" "I have a dog named Lexi!!" "I have a cat named Melvin!!" Loud and repetitive!! :)
Next picture: Atley was playing with the cars while Nora and Avi were taking a turn on the tablets. Reminder; 2 tablets, 3 kids. So we (Avi, Atley, Nora, and I) had a short discussion to decide how to start the process of taking turns. I was prepared to draw a name out of a hat for the person who had to wait 20 minutes for her turn. But first I decided to see if anyone would volunteer. "Would anyone be willing to wait for your turn?" Avi and Atley totally got the concept. (I'm not sure about Nora.) Avi immediately said, "Not me!" Haha. That's what I was expecting from all of them of course. Atley said, "I will." Wow. I was surprised, but very proud of her and she did very well with it.
Last picture: All the girls, but especially Avi and Atley, have been pretty interested in finding bugs this Spring! So I went above the garage and found an insect poster I knew was there and the kids were identifying bugs that they are familiar with.
