Atley - 4/13/2020

Atley ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a bite of chicken, ate whole wheat pita bread, half of avocado, bite of cucumbers, and ate pears.  Atley was still at the window waving bye to Momma and she suddenly said, "You fixed it!!"  Huh, fixed what?!?  "The clock."  Haha.  It had chimed on the half-hour (I didn't even notice) and boy she immediately responded.  It's been down for a few weeks and Lauralea and I got it going.  Just one of the things you do when you're quarantined!!  Lauralea's Dad could repair anything (he repaired clocks for many people in Plains) and told us how to do it.  Please do NOT brings your clocks here for repair.  :)

In the first picture Nora was still wearing her cape and Atley was trying to show off her bruised knee with the bandaid.  :)  Second picture: This is a pretty challenging activity, but Atley worked at it for awhile until Avi said she wanted to play "Farmyard Bingo."  Ha.  In this activity Atley was matching opposites and that is a good challenge for her.

In the next picture we are playing a "Farmyard Bingo" game and everyone had a great time with it.  Side note; My sister calls bingo at a nursing home, I call bingo here.  :)  Last picture:  Avi is the one who started this by "measuring" Miles.  So Atley laid on the floor so Nora could measure her too.  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
