Atley - 3/19/2020

Atley ate three servings of French toast and ate dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate cauliflower, and fruit salad.  At breakfast they were doing a bit of bickering or actually just saying, "I love you Gary," but trying to do it better than the other person.  "I love you Gary."  I love you Gary."  "I love you more!"  "No, I love you more!"  "I love you SO much Gary!"  Haha!!  And of course it takes on a life of it's own and away they go!!

Yesterday the electricity went off about 3:00 - just before snack time.  It was off for about 30 minutes.  Atley immediately said a "bucket truck would come and fix it."  And she followed that up with what caused it; "A tree fell over."  Then during snack Atley said, "Well I have lights at my house."  Haha.  You gotta love 4 year old logic.

First picture; Atley was here for at least 30 minutes before Nora came and when I took this picture she was just hanging out waiting for Nora's arrival.  :)  Following pictures; Atley was covering Nora with the doll blankets and bandanas and then Nora was covering Atley.  :)

This note is more about Nora, but it's pretty funny.  We were looking at pictures and the Polar Bear's eyes were pretty small and looked like little pure black beads.  Atley said, "Polar Bear!!"  Nora said, "What the heck!?! He doesn't have any eyeballs!!"  LOL!  I said, "Well actually he does."  Nora added, "He doesn't have the rest of his eyes!"  :)  Last picture: They'd been laying on the mattress and I wanted a picture of them side-by-side, but Nora doesn't cooperate real well for photos and so I was playfully tossing them on the mattress and finally got a photo I like!!  Haha!!  Atley is laughing SO hard.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
