Atley - 1/28/2020
Atley had two servings of waffles and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortillas, two servings of corn, and three servings of apple slices. We ran out of time and didn't get to the baked cinnamon apples, so we had apple slices instead. They nailed that immediately; "Hey! Why are we having it like this?" They totally know what goes with every meal!! Haha!!
These first two pictures are leftover from yesterday afternoon. First picture is primarily Atley working with the legos. Linnea is resting in the background. I guess it's hard work watching Atley do construction!! Haha. Next picture; Atley has on the "Grandmother" mask from "Little Red Riding Hood" story. Linnea has on a bear mask from the "Three Little Bears" story. Linnea said, "I'm the Lion King!!" Haha!!
Next picture: Atley is back at the legos table working with the legos trucks, some cars, and making a "gas station!" She would much rather play with these things instead of playing with dolls. However, the last time Nora was here Atley immediately started playing with dolls to accommodate Nora. That's being a good friend in my book.
Last picture: This is a new Preschool activity that I recently acquired. There are lots of alphabet pieces and you find the ones that make the word that matches the picture. These pieces are also two - sided so there are actually 16 words in all. Avi and Atley can identify the alphabet, but it's primarily using the "capital" letter. This game is using "small" letters too so that will help them identify those as well.
