Atley - 12/30/2019

Atley ate bites of kix cereal and ate mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of ground turkey hash with meat, peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, sweet potatoes, and spices.  She ate two servings of whole wheat hamburger bun, and ate cherries.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend - well mostly Sylvie (Avi and Svea's sister) did it.  Ha!  My involvement is paying for the help, so I feel like I can say "we."  :)  As usual the kids were super busy and engaged all morning.

Here are some pictures from Atley's morning: She was the first one here and the first thing she grabbed was a puzzle in the Preschool room.  She really likes these kinds of puzzles and she's good at them.  Way to go Atley!!  In the second picture she and Nora were playing with the small doll house in the Daycare room.  The third picture is a new activity we found that they had fun with this morning.  There are different colored threaded "bolts" that screw into the holes.  Under the piece with the holes are papers with different color arrangements and they are to match the bolts to the correct colored hole.  The "drill" she is using is battery powered and has a forward and reverse.  Or you can use a screwdriver or wrench!  Lots of choices!

Last picture: Nora can be here again today and tomorrow because Linnea is gone until Thursday.  Nora wanted to give Atley a random hug and it was so cute.  AND they reenacted the moment so I could take a picture.  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
