Atley ate half of bran cereal and ate her raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, avocado, olives, and ate her pears.  I think I may have mentioned this last week, but Linnea said it again today.  Atley was done with breakfast and said, "I'm done Gary."  Linnea said, "You're not done!"  Haha!  Silly kids.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so as always the kids were busy on "Toy Exchange Monday!"  Atley was totally excited to see some new tutus and she wore a polkadot tutu all morning and finally took it off for lunch.  :)  First picture; I think we have 4 different containers of doll house accessories so this is a new set.  This was an amazing yard sale find.  It was a large tub full of great accessories in very good condition!

A couple more pictures - Atley was looking at her rabbit ears in the mirror and then she was messing with her hair barrette.  Following picture; More "new" stuff!  Building with the legos.  When Atley was playing with the food toys I heard her say something like; "I need some tea with my pumpkin bread."  :)

Last picture - Atley joined Linnea on the shelves and they were pretending to sleep.  Atley's "snoring" was well executed!!  Pretty loud and obnoxious!!  Haha!  (zoom in on Atley's face)  You can see Linnea's expression and she's giving the snoring a good try as well!

Atley ate whole wheat bagel and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger pizza with whole wheat crust, tomato sauce, olives, peppers, mushrooms, and pineapple. This isn't just about Atley, but I think you'll like it.  At the breakfast table when everyone was just about done eating Avilene started whipping her head side-to-side really fast and furious - just being a goof and showing-off!  Nora and Atley were laughing hard of course and started doing the same thing, squealing louder every passing second!  I told Avi, "Hold your head still please."  Hudson never misses an opportunity to add his two cents worth, and he followed with this; "Or your ponytail will fall out!"  haha!  (The fact that Avi didn't have a ponytail was apparently irrelevant!) So we're hearing new words every day from Atley!  Very cool.  This morning shortly after she arrived she was playing in front of the igloo and randomly said, "tiger." What!?!  Surpr...

Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and mandarin oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of ground beef, two servings of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas, and applesauce. I'm not exactly sure what brought about the conversation about our "heart," but Atley informed everyone "I know when your heart breaks." Oh really, when is that? "When you're NOT in love." Then after a few moments she added; "When you die." :) Today was Science with Lauralea and the kids were super excited as always. The theme was "our tongue" and "taste buds." Lots of tasting today! As you can see in the first picture we had a partially completed (ha) diagram of the tongue and we briefly told the kids where their taste buds are located. So we started by having them plug their nose and experimented with them deciding if they could taste better with their nose plugged or unplugged. Then we moved on to lots of tasting. "Is it sw...

Atley ate malt-o-meal cereal and a bite of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a bite or two of "beef kabobs" (beef, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms), ate whole wheat toast, and pineapple. This first picture is from yesterday afternoon.  Atley was squatted down in the middle of the sidewalk watching school kids walk home.  Avilene saw her squatting there and ran to join her.  Not too much to say about this picture except for the fact I think it's adorable!! In this next picture Hudson was holding a mirror in front of Atley's face and he said, "This is Atley."  Ha!  These are some new mirrors I got; one side magnifies and the other side distorts!  (Hey!  Just trying to start them off with a good self-image! Ha!) There were several robins in the yard when I took these last two pictures.  The robin in the first picture hopped down to the ground and Hudson said, "He fell off!"  Haha!  Robins are one of the more "calm...
