Atley - 7/18/2019
Atley ate two servings of whole wheat bagel and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate hamburger and sausage pizza with peppers, pineapple, and olives; and whole wheat pizza crust. She also ate pineapple on the side.
I'd been in the kitchen shortly before breakfast toasting and putting butter on some bagels. Atley didn't know what I was doing and didn't even notice. Soon I was done and back in the play room. A couple minutes later Atley tipped her head back and said, "Yuuummm! That smells good!" I asked, "What does it smell like?" She thought for a moment and said, "Muffin." Wow! Impressed me! That girl has a pretty sharp sense of smell.
The Lunch conversation today was pretty cute and funny. Atley asked Avilene, "Do you have a basement?" Avi said, "Yes, but you can't go in it." Atley wanted to know "why?" Avi said, "Because it's really dirty." Haha! Atley said, "There is creepy spiderweb there!!" Avi pretty much spent the rest of lunch time trying to convince Nora to come to her house. And telling Nora the "creepy spiderwebs" were just a myth perpetuated by Atley! Haha! Then Avilene was talking about all the big plans she has to clean everything. :)
This first picture is left over from outside yesterday afternoon. This is what it looks like when the neighbor kids have a pool in their yard. It's just a blow up one, but it's pretty large. They also have a trampoline over there so that provides lots of entertainment for Little Treasures kids!! Next picture: They were waving bye to Nora's Daddy Ryan. So just in case you've been wondering about this: that truck is still NEW here!! As soon as he drives around the corner Atley always says the same thing; "He's got a NEW truck!!"
Last picture: Atley is giving Linnea some pointers on finding minuscule fuzzies on the floor! Atley is actually quite amazing at finding something dropped or missing. She's my "go-to" girl when I can't locate something!!
