Atley - 7/17/2019

Atley ate three servings of whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, bite of potato/sweet potato, and ate fruit salad.

First picture: Atley was using this doll blanket like a cape when she jumped off the blue balance beam.  I asked, "What are you?"  She said, "I am a flyer."  Oh, a flyer.  "Yes, I can fly like this." :)

Next picture: Linnea was "feeding" Atley and Atley played along with her for several minutes and went though many feedings!!  (That was very sweet of you Atley to play along with her.)  When Atley got up and walked around Linnea kept following Atley wanting to feed her some more.  Atley said, "No, I don't want some."  Linnea asked, "Why?"  Atley said, "Cause I'm not hungry."  Haha!

Last two pictures: We played this board game yesterday and they were all excited to play it again today.  " Can we do the Ladybug Game!? Can we do the Ladybug Game!?"  It's great for teaching them about "taking turns, recognizing numbers, and counting out that many spaces on the board."  I needed to feed Callahan, but they said, "Let's play another game!!" which they were doing in the last picture!  Making up rules as they went!  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
