Atley - 6/6/2019
Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and no oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef, a large serving of whole wheat elbow noodles, ate peas and two servings of applesauce. The lunch time discussion at the table was entertaining as usual!! There was lots of talk about visiting each other homes, having birthday parties, halloween costumes, and how much candy they will get! During the birthday discussion Avi pointed at Nora and said, "You will have to bring me a present!" Haha!
This first picture is left over from yesterday afternoon when the kids were "painting" the sidewalk with rollers and brushes. (Atley - bottom right - which I guess is pretty obvious with her long hair hanging below her sun hat.) Svea - top right - didn't do much painting, but rather she was wildly slinging water left, right, and up!! Haha!
This doesn't happen real often, but this was one of those mornings when Atley was kind of bouncing from activity to activity without focusing on any one activity for more than a minute or two. (Hey, it just hit me that maybe that celebration doughnut in honor of Nana had too much sugar! Ha!) Anyhow, she was primarily wanting ME to entertain HER!! So I gave her all kinds of entertaining ideas she could pursue on her own. She said, "I'm just gonna rest." So I took this next picture a minute or two after she told me that! Ha! Last picture: She eventually did a couple of activities on her own initiative. Good job Atley. She said, "I made a tunnel and a bridge."
